LUNENBURG WRITING RETREAT AND LITERARY FESTIVAL. takes place in September, a beautiful time of year in this colorful UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll work daily from writing prompts to inspire new work or continue working on a project. Open to writers at all levels and in all genres. The Amherst Writers & Artists methodology allows you to slip past your inner critic and create writing that surprises you. The workshop includes a ticket to the Lunenburg Lit Festival where you’ll be inspired by readings from Canadian authors. Join Meg in Nova Scotia this fall! Workshop fee is $1150. Join Meg for this year’s ICELAND WRITING RETREAT offered by Maine Media Workshops + College. This intimate writing retreat will be limited to 6 participants who will share a house in the South of Iceland, outside Reykjavik. Be inspired by the geologic forces that shaped this dynamic landscape, and spend time focused on generating new work or working on an existing project.
